Local Massage Envys in Maryland Fundraise for the Arthritis Foundation Charity Run

Massage Envy Columbia and Massage Envy River Hill will be participating in the Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis on December 3rd at 8:30am. The event is being held to help raise funds for the Arthritis Foundation, which works in communities across the United States, researching cures for the disease as well as supporting community outreach programs. The two Massage Envy clinics are Snowflake Sponsors, donating $ 1,000 to the cause and with a goal to raise over $ 1,000 more for the event that brings awareness to the disease that affects millions of Americans.

This is not the only time Massage Envy Columbia and Massage Envy River Hill have teamed up in the fight against Arthritis. The two centers recently partnered with the Arthritis Foundation on October 12th for Healing Hands for Arthritis, where $ 10 from every massage and facial in Columbia, Howard County, MD went to the Arthritis Foundation. Massage Envy locations across the nation raised over $ 500,000 for the foundation.

We had such great success with our Healing Hands for Arthritis fundraiser that we wanted to continue to support the Arthritis Foundation, says Clinic Representative Lisa Cicchesi. Working with the Arthritis Foundation goes hand and hand for our Massage Envy clinics as massage therapy is noted as being highly successful in treating the ailments of Arthritis.

Fifty massage therapists in Clarksville, Howard County, MD from the two clinics have been involved in helping to get the word out about the Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis fundraiser and have helped raise over $ 1,000.
